Veja
Founded in 2003 by Sébastien Kopp and François-Ghislain Morillion, Veja is a French footwear company that specialises in sneakers. However, what makes them different to their contemporaries lies in their methodology when it comes to creating said sneakers. Veja proudly boasts that their sneakers are created with the well-being of their workers and environment in mind. By opting to relocate valuable resources from advertising to production, raw materials and its workforce, Veja is able to create sneakers that upholds environment and economic justice.

A Veja sneaker is an environmentally conscious creation, with the shoes being made from wild rubber and organic cotton sourced from the jungles of Brazil.

Besides sourcing organic materials for their shoes, Veja is also known to use recycled materials to create them. Case in point, the B-mesh, a fabric made entirely out of recycled plastic bottles.
