Maison Kitsuné
For Fall-Winter 2018, Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki, co-founders and artistic directors of Maison Kitsuné, have drawn their inspiration from geek culture as they unveil “Dream Amplifier”. Classic, preppy silhouettes are “hacked” with masterly superimpositions, ultra-worked details, and unexpected associations of fabrics, colors and prints. The collection plays on the effects of contrast, mixing daring codes with subtle edginess. The look, chic and laid-back, adopts hints of nerdiness while revealing a perfect balance between retro and future, for a wardrobe influenced by the new technological zeitgeist.

The Prince-of-Wales check suit is worn loose with trousers cropped at the ankle and an emblazoned, neatly fastened baseball cap. Beneath an unbuttoned jacket, a turtleneck, polo shirt and t-shirt are unabashedly juxtaposed.
